I am sure by now you know that my hubby is quite health conscious. So I decided to get back on track by doing yoga. I really enjoy my yoga classes and through all the downward facing dog poses and pranayama breathing poses my mind still managed to create the perfect ‘after yoga’ breakfast. Strawberry and Banana Smoothie.
This recipe for Strawberry and Banana Smoothie is really easy and versatile. All you need to create the perfect smoothie is some fresh fruit, yogurt and fruit juice. And a really cool food processor.
So I decided to indulge in this healthy meal after I got home from my yoga class. You know, to complete the whole healthy mind, body and spirit routine.
I had a beautiful punnet of strawberries that couldn’t go to waste, so off with their stems and into the processor they went with a banana, peach flavored yogurt and some berry juice. Enjoy.

- 1 banana peeled and cut into pieces
- 1/2 cup yogurt any flavor
- 1/2 cup berry juice
