Not only is this Easy Green Smoothie recipe super nifty – it also promises to deliver those happy, healthy and nutritious active ingredients to keep you glowing until midnight. I used baby spinach, cucumber, green apple, celery, mint, ginger and natural yogurt.
The addition of the apple and ginger gives this smoothie the sweetness it requires. You can’t go wrong with herbaceous mint, parsley or even basil – for that extra kick of freshness. You can also add a frozen banana if you like your smoothie creamier, or replace the natural yogurt with nut milk or coconut yogurt if you are plant based.

- 2 cups baby spinach
- 1 large cucumber roughly chopped, skin on
- 2 stalks celery roughly chopped
- 2 green apples cored and roughly chopped
- 10 cm fresh ginger peeled and grated
- 1 lemon juice used
- handful fresh mint
- 1 cup natural yogurt
- 1 cup ice water
