The weekend could not have come any sooner. I am looking forward to a whole lot of relaxing of sorts, and no one could be properly relaxed without a delicious sweet treat waiting to get consumed, right?
I have the perfect recipe for proper indulgence this weekend. Did you notice how this only happens on Fridays? I need loads of restraint during the week, so Fridays are normally the day I luxuriate in sugary treats the size of Joburg.
This recipe of Bar One and Marshmallow Pinwheels are pretty damn easy and insanely addictive, let me tell you. I used a roll of puff pastry I had in the freezer and chopped op a whole lot of bar one chocolate bars and fluffy marshmallows to fill it with.
The result is a crispy pastry with chocolate and sticky caramel – and of course oozy marshmallow!
So what do you think about this one? I can see something similar like this happening regularly in our house. How versatile is a roll of puff pastry?
I can think of a million ways to use it in sweet treats and desserts. Pastry is my life!!! So, ready to indulge?
