Ingredients
500
gr
boerewors
15
ml
olive oil
1
clove
garlic
minced
1
birds eye chili
chopped

cups
good quality beef stock
2
cups
basmati rice
1
cup
cherry tomatoes
sliced in half
few
sprigs
fresh thyme
salt and black pepper
to season
Instructions
Heat a medium sauce pan and brown sausage or wors until done.
Remove from heat; add olive oil, and sauté the garlic and chili.
Deglaze the pan by adding the stock.
Add the basmati rice and bring to the boil, lowering the heat and keeping it on a low temperature.
Add the cherry tomatoes, herbs and season to taste.
Finally add the cooked sausage, cover and cook on low heat until the rice is done.
