Good Morning from this power-packed Beetroot Smoothie Bowl! If you thought I have gone mad by adding beetroot in a smoothie, I can assure you, I have not! Most importantly, it’s absolutely delicious and nutritious.
Start Your Morning with a Beetroot Smoothie Bowl
Starting your morning with a nutritious breakfast is the way to go. However, I did munch on a piece chocolate bar last night, so I guess it’s all about balance! After that though I am ready to feed my body with the right kind of stuff – like this easy peasy Beetroot Smoothie Bowl.
How To Make a Beetroot Smoothie Bowl
I find the ever popular ‘smoothie bowl’ as the perfect, quick and easy breakfast idea. Likewise, I’ve been enjoying blending some great (and odd) fresh ingredients together.
This smoothie bowl is a combination of fresh beets with frozen berries, oats, fresh ginger, lime, banana, kiwi and my homemade granola. I couldn’t be more happier to get on trend with adding veggies to your breakfast – a concept I’m keen to explore in future.
If you have a high speed blender, you can even add frozen chunks of beetroot with the frozen berries to make it even thicker. A great tip when you want to add ice, is to blend the frozen fruits first and adding your ice last. In conclusion, all you need is some fresh ingredients and crunchy granola to finish it off. Boom! Breakfast served!
